About

Polycryl Corporation, EarthGuard Division

Polycryl is the first company focused specifically on producing Tooling systems and Tooling products for the fiberglass reinforced plastics industry.

Founded in 1993 by Dick Davis, Polycryl initially processed and distributed polyester flake (glitter) to the boating industry, as well as serving as manufacturing representatives for producers of Urethane and Polyester products.

In 2002 Polycryl moved to a brand new facility in Oakland, Tennessee and began manufacturing the EarthGuard Line of Resins and Gel Coats. Consisting of roughly 20,000 square feet with ample room for expansion, the central location of our facility gives us easy access to the interstate system to provide quick services to our customers.

Although fairly new as a manufacturer, Polycryl has put together a team with over 150 years of combined experience in polymer chemical formulation, sales, and manufacturing expertise.

Polycryl is dedicated to making the best products on the market using the most advanced Low Hap technology. Our team has developed procedures which are strictly enforced for all our manufacturing processes to ensure our customers the performance and consistency they demand.
